You must restore the driver back to factory defaults:
  1. Close down your badging software.
  2. Navigate to devices and printers.
  3. Right click on the Magicard printer and select:
    • > printing preferences
    • > save tab
    • > click ‘Restore Factory Defaults’ button
  4. Reopen the badging software and try a print.
If you receive the same error go to your printer settings or printer properties within the badging software and go to the Save tab and click ‘restore factory defaults’ again.

Additional notes:

ADMIN account will be needed to reset the factory defaults. Or at least a User Account with permissions higher than just ‘Print’.

Printer model: Pronto100

The response was much faster this time and got it fixed within 1 1/2 weeks! They fixed the problem and answered the questions I had! Also, great that there was a warranty to help with the price!

Printer model: Enduro3e

In all fairness, as my question was the opposite of what MagiCard would like to achieve I wasn't really expecting a comprehensive answer. Even though I did not get a solution to my question, the answer was well formulated and even offered some alternatives inducing the effect the alternative would have to the print quality.
