Does the Prima 4 or Prima 8 printer have a Pass Through mode?

The Prima 4 & 8 Printers cannot be used in “Pass Through” mode and move a card directly to the laminating unit without printing. (i.e. cards that have already been printed and need laminating only).

Reason:
  1. The final movement of the card prior to ejecting is performed by the Retransfer Ribbon which is only used during the printing cycle.
  2. The Prima 4 Laminator does not have a stand alone function, it can only work with the Printer.
